Monday - Reflective Writing - Camp (T1 W9)
REFLECTIVE WRITING - Year 5 & 6 Camp
You have prepared 3 slides of writing - Well done, but we’re not done yet!
It is your turn to turn them into a finished piece of writing.
You will need to write two extra paragraphs - an Introduction to Year 5 & 6 Camp, and a Conclusion; how did you feel about camp once it was finished?
Introduction - Who, What, When, Where? |
On Wednesday 24th of March we started our camp journey with six camp teams on the top field. |
Paragraph One: Your Happy Moment |
I was very happy about our second rotation because we got to muck around. But my most 2 favourite activities were jumping on the little tramp and flipping onto the jump mat and doing karaoke with my tent buddies, Jeyda and Lynch. We sang Hallelujah Leonard Cohen and No Scars to your Beautiful by Alessia Cara. At the end of this event I was quite bummed out but then I said to myself it’s ok there’s still lots of time that you get to muck around (AT HOME). |
Paragraph Two: Your Challenging Moment |
For this rotation I really enjoyed it because we worked as a team and no one was feeling left out or upset that someone was being mean or grouchy. I mostly enjoyed this activity, even though we won and the other team lost we still cher=ered them on until they got their flag up. This made me feel happy because I didn’t have to tell anyone off or get made at anyone. Even though it’s just a game the Tui’s didn’t give up because we were cheering for them. |
Paragraph Three: Your Proud Moment |
On Thursday night we had a camp concert. At the concert all the camp groups did a performance one by one. When we had our performance I was so proud of our group, even though we placed 5th I didn’t really care because we all tried our best. |
Conclusion: How did you feel after all of that? |
After Camp I was so Exhausted that when I got home I unpacked my camping gear and had a shower and then had a relaxing sleep. |
