Syllables Practice 2

    Syllables

Words are made up of parts called syllables. Each syllable has a vowel sound. A fun way to count syllables is to clap as you read each word. 


Examples:

1 clap 

1 syllable

monkey

2 claps 

2 syllables

forever

3 claps 

3 syllables
