The day Vesuvius Erupted Diary!!

Dear Diary, 

What an unforgettable day!  I was busy collecting water from the well, when the sun mysteriously disappeared from the sky.

I looked up and saw lots of grey and white steam or something coming from the volcano and it started to erupt so then I screamed out to everyone and said “Run everybody the volcano is about to erupt!!!” so then everybody started running.Then when we were running I forgot about my friends Khyani and Grace. So then  I ran back and I told them and they started running before I even said and then we ran until we got to a safe area.

Finally the whole village was safe but sad at the same time, as people started to look at the village from far away with the binoculars that I had in my bag. Then lots of little kids were very hungry and thirsty, so I went to any well I could find and filled it up with medium sized cups and gave it to them to drink instead because there was no food around.

So then the next morning we started walking back to the village and as soon as we were getting closer it started to rain so everyone cuddled up together and stayed underneath all the umbrellas and started walking faster. As we  were walking we got closer and closer.Finally we just got there before we got tired, then when we saw our village we were sad and wondered where we would stay?? So I guess we would have to stay somewhere warm and where there is food and water.

I wonder what's going to happen next?? See you tomorrow on my next adventure or story!!
