Ah yes welcome back. It’s me explorer Emeline. Yesterday I was talking about green sea turtles. But this week I will be talking about and doing some fun stuff with animals. Today’s animal is the West Indian Manatee. In fact I will be swimming with it. So without further ado introduce the West Indian Manatee. Now the manatee is a very important animal. Why? I may hear you say. Well it is important because right now it is endangered. If you don’t know what that means, it means that animal will probably be extinct soon. In other words they are not that much of that animal. Anyway onto swimming. Swimming with manatees have been on my bucket list for a pretty long time now. Now swimming with the manatee means I have to be very careful and quiet. Sorry let’s get on to swimming now. Here I am swimming with the manatee. It’s flippers moving forward then back. I looked at the manatee eyes and they were very cool and nice. Swimming with the manatee feels like I am in a dream. They are calm and very quiet. After hours of swimming with the manatee. Swimming with Green Sea Turtles
Ah yes welcome back. It;s me explorer Emeline. Now the last time you heard from me it was when I was time travelling. Now this week I will be talking about and doing some fun stuff when animals. Today’s animal is the green sea turtle. In fact I will be swimming with it. So without further ado introduce the green sea turtle.
Now the green sea turtle is a very important animal. Why? I may hear you say. Well it is important because right now it is endangered. If you don’t know what that means, it means that animal will probably be extinct soon. In other words they are not that much of that animal. Anyway onto swimming.

Thursday: Writing Task
Dear: Mum and Dad
Hi Mum and Dad
I really miss Savai'i, I wish I could come back home but I
can’t because I am actually at war fighting for our country
but "Ia E Malosi" Mum and Dad. Right now I am in Gallipoli
and I got here by airplane. In Gallipoli it smells like afi, you
can hear rocks falling off hills and when you see around
where I stay the buildings are smashed to pieces. The food
here is really nice but it doesn’t taste like the meaai you use
to make me. I am not sure when I am coming home yet
because they haven't said anything yet. But I sure hope
that I will be back at Savai’i.

Writing
One sunny morning me Delylah, Khalil, and Nerissa went for a hike in the forest. But when we got there Nerissa was a little bit scared, so I told her don’t worry because we are here with you. So I put Khalil in the baby carrier in front of me and Delylah at the back of me in the carrier, then I held Nerissa's hand and we started walking. But While we were walking me and Nerissa we heard this strange noise coming from the bush that we were looking at, so Nerissa held my hand tight and we went close to it and we looked through the bush and we saw 2 King Cobras and Nerrisa screamed out “AHHHH!” and then the Cobras came out and started hissing at us so we slowly and quietly walked away very slowly, but then when we were walking Delylah and Nerissa started screaming, so I looked at the back of us and one of the cobras was following us. So then I picked up nerissa and we started running until we found a shelter so we went underneath it. Then I took the baby carrier off and took Delylah and Khalil out of it and put Nerissa down, and then we started eating. After we ate we had a little rest underneath the sheet I brang. Then when we woke up we started walking back to the bus stop. When the bus came the bus driver helped us to get in the bus then we went to G.I and walked 1 block around and got home very tired.

The day Vesuvius Erupted Diary!!
Dear Diary,
What an unforgettable day! I was busy collecting water from the well, when the sun mysteriously disappeared from the sky.
I looked up and saw lots of grey and white steam or something coming from the volcano and it started to erupt so then I screamed out to everyone and said “Run everybody the volcano is about to erupt!!!” so then everybody started running.Then when we were running I forgot about my friends Khyani and Grace. So then I ran back and I told them and they started running before I even said and then we ran until we got to a safe area.
Finally the whole village was safe but sad at the same time, as people started to look at the village from far away with the binoculars that I had in my bag. Then lots of little kids were very hungry and thirsty, so I went to any well I could find and filled it up with medium sized cups and gave it to them to drink instead because there was no food around.
So then the next morning we started walking back to the village and as soon as we were getting closer it started to rain so everyone cuddled up together and stayed underneath all the umbrellas and started walking faster. As we were walking we got closer and closer.Finally we just got there before we got tired, then when we saw our village we were sad and wondered where we would stay?? So I guess we would have to stay somewhere warm and where there is food and water.
I wonder what's going to happen next?? See you tomorrow on my next adventure or story!!
